    Hi, you asked about the date and location of the "Harrowing of hell" icon I posted here http://guanaco17.blogspot.com/search?q=holy+saturday.

    According wikipedia, the icon is in the Ferapontov Monastery, Vologda oblast, Russia, and was made by Dionisius the Wise in 15th century http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dionisius
